My history and how I got involved with dōTERRA Essential Oils...

Helping people is in my blood. In high school I taught swimming lessons and lifeguarded. I became a nurse as a Plan B when I realized being a doctor wouldn't give me the opportunity to be a wife and mom the way I wanted (I feel like I dodged a bullet by NOT graduating from medical school with a LOT of debt!) I loved working in the ICU, but working in the hospital means nights, weekends and holidays away from my family. It wasn't until one of our children got sick that I really opened my mind to natural medicine. In the summer of 2014, our youngest child was struggling, and the healthcare system that I had committed my career to was failing us.

After several rounds of antibiotics and steroids, a friend suggested lavender essential oil - doTERRA brand, of course. At first I was WILDLY skeptical - "if essential oils worked, I would've learned about it in Nursing school", I thought. But I was desperate.

The lavender worked, and I was shocked that after months of fighting my way through the healthcare system, I solved our problem for less than $0.05. That's when I started learning everything I could about natural medicine.

Now, I get to be the best kind of nurse - the one that spends as much time as is needed with my customers. I help people with big and small problems, and the goal is always the same: to have the health necessary to life the live of your dreams.
